Defining E-Mobility
Start with the common questions below. If you are still stuck, write to our engineers or ask other teams building on the same controllers.
Adapters, ODX files, firmware updates, tuning and logging.
Send your part number, software version and what you are seeing.
A place for teams building on C-Electric controllers to share setups and fixes.
WaveShare and PEAK PCAN-USB adapters.
It is the description file for your controller. C-Electric supplies one ODX per controller, and Controller Suite takes its parameters, CAN IDs, fault codes, routines and memory map from it.
Use Bootloader mode in Controller Suite. The image is checked against the target memory region before flashing, and the checksum is verified against the one the controller reports when it finishes.
Yes. Controller Suite runs an auto-tuning routine and shows each tuned value before and after. Torque, power and derating maps can also be edited directly as lookup tables.
The AMP600, DD700 and WV300 series. The DD500 series and the DD716, DD721 and DD722 are not supported at present.
The DD500 series and the DD716, DD721 and DD722 take Hall sensors only. All other part numbers take Hall sensors, incremental or sin-cos encoders, or a resolver.
A PC running Windows.
In Live Monitoring, record raw CAN frames to an .asc file, or load your DBC file and save the decoded signals to CSV.
ISO 14229 UDS over ISO 15765-2.
Engineers at vehicle makers, integrators and service teams who work with C-Electric controllers.
Setup questions, tuning tips, integration notes and feature requests.
Your ODX files, firmware and vehicle programme details. Send those to our engineers directly.
Other users, with C-Electric engineers taking part.
Send your part number, software version and a description. An engineer will reply.
