Vehicle behaviour is tuned in firmware, not fixed in hardware.

Torque mapping, thermal management and regeneration strategy live in our software stack. Hardware, firmware and control algorithms are all developed in-house in India, so each vehicle programme gets a controller tuned for it.

Motor control and VCU in one unit

Field-oriented control, adaptive regenerative braking and vehicle control share one controller, with up to ~97% controller efficiency. Fewer boxes and less wiring on the vehicle.

Connected and updatable

CAN 2.0B and UDS diagnostics as standard. Updates arrive over the air through the vehicle's connected cluster, so vehicles keep improving after they leave the plant.

Functional safety built in

ASIL A and ASIL B compliant hardware, patented fault-detection logic and limp-home capability.

IN DEVELOPMENT

Rare-earth-free EESM powertrain

A magnet-less motor and its controller, designed and validated as one system for light commercial vehicles. Supported by an ARAI technology grant.

Automated gluing and torquing station at the Mysuru plant

Built and tested in Mysuru.

Design, firmware and validation sit with our R&D team in Kochi. Production and testing run at our own plant in Mysuru, so engineering changes reach the line without a contract manufacturer in between.
